Wendy's Official Bio:

Wendy Braun is an accomplished actress with more than 80 television and film credits, known for her versatile range, sharp comedic instincts, and commanding screen presence.

She stars in a pivotal, season-defining role in Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, the second installment of the Emmy-nominated documentary-style comedy series, where Braun plays the formidable private equity executive behind the company’s acquisition. Her commanding authority fuels the season’s central power struggle between corporate ambition and small-business values.

Braun is best known for her four-season portrayal of the hilariously uptight yet well-intentioned Kathy on Netflix’s Atypical, opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh and Michael Rapaport — a performance critics praised as “a standout among the cast.” Her television credits include Grey’s Anatomy, This Is Us, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Mentalist, Bones, Documentary Now!, and Castle.  Her film work includes the cult comedy Donny’s Bar Mitzvah, opposite Danny Trejo, as well as The Clapper.  She also enjoyed a notable ten-episode arc on General Hospital, which led to a contract role on General Hospital: Night Shift.

A sought-after voiceover talent with more than 1,000 credits, Braun is a fan favorite for her role as the snarky undercover agent, ‘Gianna Parasini,’ in the hugely popular video game Mass Effect trilogy. Her voice work also includes Cartoon Network’s We Bare Bears, as well as extensive national advertising campaigns and promotional voice work.

Trained in comedy and improvisation at The Groundlings and Upfront Comedy, with stand-up experience at The Improv, The Comedy Store, and Zanies, Braun brings layered character nuance and razor-sharp timing to her work.  A Chicago native, she began performing at age twelve and studied theater at Indiana University before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue acting full time. While at Indiana University, Braun served on the founding executive committee of the Indiana University Dance Marathon, an initiative that has since raised more than $50 million to support pediatric care.

In addition to her work on screen, Braun is the Founder and CEO of a global empowerment company serving professionals in more than 25 countries. Her methodology integrates mindset mastery, performance psychology, and practical strategy to help individuals create meaningful breakthroughs and build sustainable success. She has guided thousands worldwide in building fulfilling lives and confident, purpose-driven careers. Her expertise has been featured in Forbes, Variety, and Authority Magazine. She has shared her work at institutions including the Television Academy, SAG-AFTRA, and Women In Film.

Wendy lives in Los Angeles with her husband, their two amazing sons, and a Rottweiler/Boxer rescue dog.  She actively supports causes that champion mental health and wellness, animal rescue, and creative empowerment.
