This past week has been such a fun, full-circle moment.I had the opportunity to make a special guest appearance on KTLA Live, here in Los Angeles to share the show Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat… and my role (as the villain) in it.
There’s something really special about getting to celebrate a project like this. Not just because it’s out in the world…But because of everything that went into it behind the scenes. The high-pressure, high-stakes nature of the job.
The requirement to deliver at the top of your game in every moment.
The commitment of over 100 people collaborating to bring something special to life.
And the joy of finally getting to share it… after keeping it a secret for over a year.
And now, seeing this show bring
so many people joy and laughter,
makes me want to do hair flips,
kicks, and fully celebrate it.
Watch the quick behind-the-scenes video and you’ll see what I mean…
Being in the studio, feeling the energy of the team, hearing the countdown before going live… it reminded me of the thrill of being on set and fully in it.
And in the spirit of sharing what I’ve learned along the way…
Here are a few behind-the-scenes tips:
- Capture short 5-second video clips throughout your day
It keeps the story moving and gives you so much more to work with later. You can drop them into an app like CapCut and instantly create something beautiful in minutes. - Film your “fun” content after your segment
Once you’re wrapped, you can relax and actually enjoy capturing the moment. - Do a quick “walking in” shot on your way out
That “walking into KTLA” moment? I usually grab that after I wrap. It looks the same, but feels way less stressful. And “slo-mo” mode is a vibe. - Have talking points in your pocket
You don’t need a script… just anchors. It helps you stay present while still feeling prepared.
This KTLA appearance was just one part of a very exciting press week. I was also invited to be featured on 17 morning shows across the country, which was thrilling and such a reminder of how quickly things can evolve and expand when you stay committed to your path and you’re willing to grow into the version of you that can hold it.
If you’d like to see more of those moments: Click here to view the morning show highlights.
And, if you want to come behind the scenes with me in real time on the latest adventures, I’ve been sharing clips, behind-the-scenes footage, and moments from this entire press week, and I’ll be sharing more from the premiere as well. Click here to follow along on Instagram.
I hope this serves as a reminder that
preparation creates presence…
Because when you’ve done the work,
you’re not thinking about what to say…
you’re actually living in the moment..
Let me know in comments: what’s one thing you’re ready for… even if it feels a little scary?
I love hearing from you and will hold the vision of you there.
Love + Gratitude,
Wendy
